SPIRE Credit Union Give Back campaign - August 2021

our work

Some of the best content marketing pieces are those that both highlight an issue and offer solutions. This campaign from SPIRE Credit Union does just that.

Through our partnership with SPIRE, we created the “Give Back” campaign, which runs monthly in the Star Tribune’s Inspired section.

In August, the Give Back campaign focuses on financial wellness. Why? Eye opening statistics that ran in the ad illustrated why better financial wellness education in America is so crucial.

In fact, 78% of American adults live paycheck to paycheck, and three in five don’t keep a budget. Another four in seven Americans say they are unable to manage their finances.

Without the right financial wellness tools, Americans are less likely to be able to prepare for emergency financial situations, work toward their long-term goals, or attain the freedom of choice in their lives.

But SPIRE wants to do something about it.

The SPIRE Visa Credit Card Program gives back 0.25% of every purchase to a number of worthy causes, including financial wellness education.

SPIRE also makes charitable giving easy through the NetGiver app, which allows members to give to a wide variety of organizations without fees, so their entire donation is put to good use.

We love working on this campaign with SPIRE. A powerful presence in the local community, it’s an honor to have a part in spreading awareness around financial wellness and what people can do to support SPIRE’s mission.
