Glen Taylor: Why I’m Proud to Own the Star Tribune
Businessman Glen Taylor recently penned an opinion piece about one of his investments: the Star Tribune.
Taylor has owned the Star Tribune since 2014. The decision to buy the newspaper was, and continues to be, a good one, he wrote. In fact, the Star Tribune fills a need in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota communities that no other publication does. It’s the only seven-day, home delivery newspaper that serves the entire state.
And beyond providing in-depth coverage of all parts of Minnesota, from the pandemic to the police killing of George Floyd, the Star Tribune is succeeding as a business, Taylor says.
As the fourth largest metro daily newspaper in the country and with around 240 journalists, the Star Tribune can provide a service to its audience that other struggling publications cannot.
At Foundry425, we’re proud that the work we do supports local journalism. Working with us means helping to provide this essential service our community. And it means we get to tell your story alongside the news Minnesotans rely on.
